I've started with the Symantec software, which took about 25 minutes to clone one server disk. The Acronis solution, on the other hand, took less than 15 minutes.
I'll post here my reviews and personal opinion on the following tools:

Have you ever thinked about Retrospect ? I've used that to backup about 2.3 TB onto 4 tapes in 2 days.
We're discussing about Business solutions no ?

Laurentio,
I down loaded the 15 Day Trial Version of Acronis True Image Home 2009, and attempted to use it to clone my XP Notebook Hard Drive [run out of space, getting old].

But alas, after three or four attempts, discovered to my dismay [deep down in Acronis Forum] that the Trail Version cannot be used for this purpose [takes you all the way [manual configure and all] to Proceed, locks Drive C; and D:, then nothing...

I am reluctant to pay US$50 for a once in a life time Hard Drive Clone operation.
Is there an other way, surely there would be a standard utility in Windows XP for this purpose. I can partition and format the new drive [via USB] in XP Disk Manager, but could find no way to create a Clone.

I would really appreciate your guidance...

Robert...
