Nothing will stop current malware from installing if the user clicks on the wrong thing.
The anti-malware applications are always playing a game of catch-up. The same applies to removing malware. I don't know of any program that is guaranteed to remove an infection. It takes an expert with an arsenal of programs to remove an infection. I usually do it from a Live Linux CD. The malware you have usually installs a couple of drivers, sometimes a service, and often hooks into the winlogon process. There is no sense in trying to clean these on a business computer. The data should be on the server. Wipe off the computer and start again is the quickest and cleanest way...

The best computer protection is user education.
Followed by keeping All applications up to date (not just Windows). Having Antimalware software installed is third to those. Any of the major anti-malware applications is good enough. I like Spybot S&D for immunization (free), Malwarebytes and Avast antivirus which is free too. It seems to cause the least problems. And remember, the best computer protection is user education.
All the best.
