The Advent support site is a waste of time. Finding drivers on their website is practically impossible as they have no drivers posted in there.
Therefore stop searching on their website right now, or stop wasting money calling their customer support line as it is nothing they can do for you.

The OLDER Advent Laptops/Notebooks and most Advent PCs are made by a company called 'Medion' which is a German firm. Their website supplies ALL the necessary drivers and utilities for your laptop by the Medion (MD) model number. The MD number can be found on the back of your laptop/desktop and will usually begin with a MD - reference (ignore the Advent model number crap).
Type the model number, or your serial number if you're using a PC, in here:
http://www1.medion.de/downloads/?lang=uk and it will list all the applicable drivers for your notebook/desktop.

The identification number is placed at the bottom of your notebook. Please turn over your notebook and you will find either a product number (MD xxxx) or an alphanumeric product key.
You might find it says Advent instead of Medion.

Your identification number (MED number) is placed on the back of your PC.

The NEWER Advent Laptops/Notebooks are manufactured by a Tawainese company called ECS.
You will find the 'ECS' number on the back of your laptop, similar to ECS-G610 for example (that is the model number for the Advent 7091). This can then be used to search for relevant drivers/BIOS' etc here:
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/Category_Download.aspx?MenuID=6&LanID=0 (http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWeb/Downloads/Category_Download.aspx?Categoryid=3&MenuID=37&LanID=9)

For MUCH OLDER Advent Laptops/Notebooks a company named as Gericom manufactured the notebooks (also known as Gericom in Germany it seems) and also sold under the name of 'Mecer', 'Acer' and 'Uniwill', among others. These have model numbers similar to N340S8 etc.
Tracking drivers for these is pretty hard, but these guys seem to still have them on an old section of their site:
http://www.mecer.co.za/drivers/oldftp/Mecer_Notebooks/
and by product name (which wasn't used by Advent)
http://www.acomp.hu/pub/gericom/Notebook/
also from the actual source (Gericom) but by product name again
http://download.gericom.com/NOTEBOOK/

As a last resort, if the drivers you're looking for are not available at all look for some help form the Unofficial Advent Support Forum:
